Intel Core i5-10600K Desktop Processor 6 Cores up to 4.8 GHz Unlocked
The Intel Core i5 10600KF is the processor a lot of people will consider in their mid-range/high-end gaming PCs. Just like its siblings, it has six cores and twelve threads. The max power draw is rated at 95W. This makes it a bit more thermal and power-efficient than the 10600K. The base and boost clocks are the same, at 4.1GHz and 4.8GHz respectively.
It uses the Comet Lake architecture and the LGA1200 socket. Thanks to hyper-threading, we get twelve threads which help in productivity. It is built upon the 14nm process. The LGA1200 socket means you can use your motherboard with upcoming Rocketlake chips. In terms of performance, it is the same as the 10600K in gaming.
Overall, the Core i5 10600KF may be better for people who want to save a bit of money. Again, the price difference might not be huge, but why spend on integrated graphics if you don’t need them. If you fall into that specific situation, go with the i5 10600KF.
